Your first step to becoming a successful Tycoon is to form a company. Click the "New Company" link on the left
Settings
- The settings menu allows you to alter personal company settings!
Choose a game template:

Secretary warnings
Here you can choose which secretary warnings will be displayed on the main page:
Warn me about negative savings.
Warn when my salary account is underfunded and due soon.
Warn me when staff dissatisfaction is above 14%.
Warn me when staff are absent or jobs are unstaffed.
Warn me when the main warehouse is too full.
Warn me when the fuel account is below 750.
Warn me about unused zones.
Warn me when buildings are not placed on the map.
Popups - Members profiles
When opening the profile of another player, you have the profile displayed in a popup window by default. You can choose to have all member profiles use the same popup window, or disable popups altogether, and have member profiles display in your current browser window instead.

This works the same way as the displaying of member profiles. Choose whether you want all company profiles to use the same window, or one window each. Alternately, you may disable popups entirely, and have company profiles display in your current browser window.

Displaying of your e-mail
By default, your e-mail address is not displayed on your member profile. If you want your e-mail address to be avaliable to other players, toggle it here.

Displaying of your birthday
By default, only the day and month of your birthday is shown in your profile. You can choose to show the year as well, or you can hide it entirely.

Time & login metre
The clock at the top right of the browser window updates automatically every second. You can, if you wish, toggle it to only update upon refreshing of a Tycoon Online page. This might speed up the loading of the pages of the game.

Here you can toggle the quick help on and off. The quick help appears on top of some pages providing you with game information as well as helpful hints and tips.

Email: Private messages
When this is turned on, you will receive an email message whenever a player sends you a private message.

When this is turned on, you will receive an email message whenever your secretary sends you a private message.

Change wealth tax payment time
You can move your wealth tax payment time from Saturday at 15:00 to Sunday at 03:00.
This change, once made, cannot be undone.
Company logo
As a gold member, you can upload a logo that is shown on your company profile and in the topframe of your own browser.

Resetting your company
You have the possibility of resetting your company once every day. This allows you to restart your company entirely, resetting all your assets and rankings.

Deactivate your member profile
If you no longer want to play Tycoon Online, you can deactivate your member profile here. This is almost the same as erasing your profile, only it will still exist hiddenly, and it will be possible to reactivate it at a later time. Deactivating your member profile resets your current game and all player records.
